La Deseada, Inaugurated on August 24, 1912.
The name of La Deseada has appeared on its main façade since 1982. It is named after the amateur Ciezanos, eager for Cieza to have a bullfighting arena worthy of such great fans.

That afternoon, August 24, 1912, the right-handers Villa Villita “Speaks Little” and Gaspar Izquierdo “El Yeclanito” alternated hand in hand with cattle from Samuel Flores.

The project for the Cieza bullring was carried out by the Hellín architect Justo Millán Espinosa (1843-1918), and was completed on November 5, 1889.

The Cieza bullring is the typical plaza-coliseum and does not conform to the canons of a neo-Mudejar style bullring. The best bullfighting figures in the world have stepped onto the arena of this square, but there is a historical date that La Deseada contemplated, in the patron saint festivities of 1944, when a unique poster entered history: José Bienvenida, Carlos Arruza and Manuel Rodríguez Manolete. In 2025, the bullring reopens after several years without activity, with the top figures of the moment performing.
